Jimin'S POV

The drive back home felt longer than usual.

I wasn't really focused on the road. My mind was thinking anything.. literally anything that can't even be real.

Because my brain wouldn't shut up.

I really forgot someone Not just someone... him.

Yoongi.

And I found Min just two days ago. Then how the heck did the doctor say I had a cat at the time of my accident?

And Yoongi was never there?

I gripped the steering wheel tighter.

"But how can I forget a whole person?" I muttered to myself. "Like... was I blind? Was I heartless? Or did my brain just go delete-delete like clearing phone storage?"

And then another thought hit me.

If I forgot him...

Where was he all these years?

Did he try to meet me?

Did he watch me from far away?

Did he give up?

Even the cat wasn't with me?

My cat and Yoongi appeared at the same time??

Guilt started crawling inside my chest. I felt very uncomfortable.

"Why does Min act like him... even the same yellow eyes?" I whispered.

My cat... the way he stares. The way he gets jealous. The way he always sticks to me like glue.

And Yoongi?

Same eyes, ame intense staring, same possessive tone, same soft way of saying, "Jimin."

And the weirdest part? Yoongi appeared the moment Min disappeared.

I let out a dry laugh. "Okay, Jimin. Now you're officially losing it. Next you'll say your cat is a magical shapeshifter."

I paused.

"What if he is?" I said out loud.

Then immediately shook my head. "Yeah, great. Now I'm imagining things."

Still.. The timing was weird.

I finally reached home and just sat in the car for a moment, staring at the house.

My house.

Our house?

I shook my head hard. "Stop. Don't jump to conclusions."

I walked inside and there he was.

Yoongi was casually sitting on the couch like he owned the place, one arm spread on the backrest, legs stretched out. He looked up the moment I entered, and his whole face softened.

Same clothes as before.

Like he hadn't moved at all.

"There's my favorite person," he said with a small smile.

I rolled my eyes immediately to hide the way my heart did a stupid little jump. "You're still here."

I should be scared but I wasn't.

Someone in my place would run.

"Of course I am," he said. "Where else would I go?"

I took off my shoes. "Maybe your own house? Your own life? Your own... whatever?"

"My life is right there," he said, pointing at me.

I paused for half a second, then looked away. "You're so dramatic."

"You used to like that," he said teasingly.

"I don't remember that," I shot back.

He stood up and walked closer. Not too close. Just enough that I could feel his presence.

"You went somewhere," he said softly. "Hospital?"

I blinked. "How do you know?"

"Why wouldn't I?"

Why does he know?

I sighed and walked past him, dropping onto the couch. "I met my doctor."

He froze slightly. Just for a second.

"And?" he asked carefully.

"And he said... I really forgot years of my life," I said, staring at the ceiling. "Including people."

Silence.

Then quietly, "I know." I looked at him.

He wasn't smiling.

His eyes looked heavy. Like he had been carrying that truth alone for years.

"So you're not lying," I said.

"About loving you? Never," he replied.

I rolled my eyes again, but softer this time. "You flirt at the worst emotional timings."

"You know you liked me flirting with you," he said.

I shook my head, but my lips twitched slightly.

"Why didn't you try to reach me before?" I suddenly asked.

He paused. Really paused this time.

"Jimin... why didn't you come here earlier?" he said quietly. "I was always here. You were just far from me."

His words made me more confused.

"My life is so confusing," I muttered. "Now I want to remember everything."

Something shifted in his expression.

"Don't remember me," he said suddenly, his voice low. "I'll disappear like air. I don't want to leave you."

My heart skipped.

"What kind of line is that?" I said, trying to sound normal. "You're so confusing, you know that?"

He smiled faintly. But there was sadness in it.

"Whatever happens," he said softly, stepping a little closer, "I'm just yours, Jimin."

And that's the problem.

Why does it feel like he already was?

I came into my bedroom.

Day 2. My cat still didn't come back.

I might sound childish... but I feel like he is my cat. Like he belongs to me.

I removed my shirt and was about to change when someone hugged me from behind.

I knew it. It was Yoongi.

He put his chin on my shoulder. I was standing shirtless in front of the wardrobe.

"Yoongi..." I called softly.

"Yeah?" he asked.

Even though I couldn't see his face, I could imagine him pouting.

"I loved you?" I asked suddenly.

He turned me swiftly, his hands gripping my waist.

"Love?" he said, looking straight into my eyes. "You did more than that, baby."

My breath hitched.

"I was the person your day started with... and the one your day ended with," he said.

Something twisted inside my chest.

If it's real... then how did I forget?

We just stood there, looking into each other's eyes.

He leaned closer. Slowly. Until I could feel his breath on my lips. His hands moved gently over my bare waist.

My hands automatically rested on his shoulders.

"Jimin... can I kiss you?" he asked, his eyes dropping to my lips and then back to my eyes.

I gave a small nod.

And that's when his lips pressed against mine.

The moment our lips touched, something inside me reacted. It felt familiar... like my body knew him even if my mind didn't.

My stomach flipped. My blood rushed through every vein. His lips moved slowly at first, then deeper, more desperate - like he had been waiting for this for years.

One of his hands slid from my waist to my hair, holding me gently but firmly.

The kiss felt emotional. Not just physical.

Like he was trying to remind me of something through it.

He pulled away for a second just to look at me. His eyes searched my face, then he smirked slightly and brushed his thumb over my lips before leaning in again.

This time the kiss deepened. I never thought I'd react like this.

I never dated anyone in these years. And yet, one touch from him made everything else disappear.

It was becoming more than just a kiss.

He pulled back slightly, his forehead almost touching mine.

"You always liked me kissing you like this..." he whispered against my lips.

"What more did I like?" I dared to ask.

"A lot of things," he smirked softly. "I can repeat them... just in case you remember."

He kissed along my jaw slowly, then down to my neck.

My head fell back slightly without me even realizing.

He knew exactly where to touch. Exactly how?

He was making me lose control.

My heart was pounding so loud I was sure he could hear it.

He looked at me again, eyes dark. "Want me to continue?" he asked quietly.

I nodded.

That's when he pushed me gently onto the bed.

I fell back against the mattress, and he moved over me, supporting his weight on his arms.

He kissed me again, it was slow and intense, leaving me breathless.

Then he pulled back slightly, hovering over me. That's when I noticed his eyes again.

"Your eyes are attractive," I whispered.

He smiled, his messy hair falling over his forehead.

"That's what you liked about me," he said.

Maybe my choice wasn't bad... if I chose him.

He removed his black T-shirt - the same one from yesterday.

I looked at him properly for the first time.

He was well-built.

Impressive.

He was sitting over me, his legs on either side of my torso.

Then he leaned down and kissed my scar gently.

My eyes closed automatically.

He traced soft kisses across my chest, slow and careful, like he was touching something precious.

And I swear.. For a moment.. It felt like heaven.
