AUTHOR'S POV
Then suddenly, Namjoon came up with an idea.
"Let's play a game."
"Truth or Dare."
Jimin rolled his eyes as soon as he heard Truth or Dare.
"Like really, Namjoon Hyung? It's the most boring and common game I've ever heard of. People always play this game," Jimin complained.
Taehyung shook his head while Jungkook looked completely done with his brother because Jimin could come up with every possible excuse to skip these kinds of activities.
"Okay then, do you have any other idea?" Namjoon asked with a knowing smile, already aware that Jimin had none.
"Actually, I don't," Jimin admitted.
Taehyung immediately clapped while saying, "Then it's decided. We're playing Truth or Dare."
Yoongi also nodded because he was excited. He had never really played something like this before or truly enjoyed moments like these with friends. So he was having a lot of fun.
Jungkook quickly stood up and ran to grab the water bottle they had brought with them.
"Here."
He sat down, placing the bottle in the middle.
"Let's start." He Said.
Jungkook spun the bottle.
Everyone's attention was fixed on it, waiting to see where it would stop.
The bottle slowly lost momentum before finally stopping on Namjoon.
"Truth or Dare?" Jimin asked, raising an eyebrow with a smirk.
"Truth," Namjoon replied, already knowing a difficult question was coming.
"Tell us something about your crush without telling us their name," Taehyung asked, trying to hide his grin because he had always believed Namjoon had a crush on Jimin.
Namjoon coughed and glared at Taehyung.
Because friends were bitches.
Yoongi felt uneasy the moment he heard the question.
What if Namjoon takes Jimin's name and then...
No.
Yoongi internally brushed away the thought.
Namjoon scratched the back of his neck, unsure of what to say.
"They are as beautiful as flowers that bloom only once in a lifetime, and their smile feels like a piece of heaven I was never meant to touch. Whenever they come close, my heart reaches for them, yet I move away like the wrong side of a magnet. The cruelest part is that they are not far from me at all - I can see them, hear them, even stand beside them. Yet somehow, they remain a distance my soul cannot cross."
Namjoon spoke whatever was in his heart.
"What the hell... You should be a poet. If someone described me like this, I'd fall for them immediately," Jungkook said, genuinely stunned by the way Namjoon described his crush.
"Namjoon Hyung, now tell us the name," Jimin demanded, wanting an answer.
Yoongi showed no reaction, but inside he was fighting with his own thoughts.
He was annoyed. How the hell did Namjoon manage to describe someone so beautifully?
"Is that someone from the hospital?" Jimin asked.
"I already answered the question, so I'm not answering anything else."
Everyone rolled their eyes, but Yoongi felt slightly relieved.
"Now I'll spin the bottle." Namjoon spun it again.
The bottle rotated across the ground before suddenly stopping on Taehyung.
Now all eyes were on him.
"Truth or Dare?" Namjoon asked.
"Dare."
Taehyung answered without thinking much because doing something sounded much easier than revealing the truth.
Namjoon smirked. "Fifty push-ups."
Taehyung's expression immediately screamed easy peasy.
He got down on all fours and started doing push-ups. Within a few minutes, he had finished all fifty.
"Now I'll spin."
Taehyung spun the bottle, and this time it stopped on Yoongi.
Yoongi immediately looked at the bottle and then at Jimin.
He was an introvert. Even though he had been trying his best to blend in with them, answering personal questions from Jimin's friends still felt a little awkward.
"Truth or Dare?" Taehyung asked.
"Truth."
"Describe your type."
Taehyung asked because he couldn't think of a better question.
After all, what else could he ask Yoongi?
He barely knew him.
"My type? I don't think I have a type. What I have is a person I've been dreaming about for years. Someone who becomes the light in all the darkness I've learned to live with, someone who reaches for me when I'm sinking and gives me a kind of comfort that makes me feel safe for the first time.
Someone who could save the whole world if they wanted to, but would still choose me at the end of the day. Someone who could destroy the world just as easily because that's how much power I'd trust them with.
I don't want perfection. I want someone who feels like home. Someone who is mine and lets me be theirs. Maybe that sounds possessive, but when I love people, I love them with everything I have. I hold them close, sometimes too close, because losing them is a fear I carry every day.
I'm kind of sensitive. An overthinker.
I'm the kind of person who hides in his own little world. I enjoy my space, my loneliness. Yet secretly, I want someone stubborn enough to walk into that space, take my hand, and pull me out of it. Someone who shows me that there's still a world worth seeing outside the walls I've built around myself.
I want someone who won't leave, even on the days I tell them to. Someone who understands that when I push people away, it's not because I want them gone - it's because I'm terrified they'll leave first. Someone who can read the pain behind my smile, understand my struggles without making me explain every little thing, and stand beside me before I even ask for help.
Someone who loves me in a way I've never been loved before. Someone who thinks about me when I'm not there, worries about me when I'm hurting, remembers the little things I never say out loud, and chooses me over and over again.
Maybe that's not a type. Maybe it's just the person my heart has been searching for all this time."
Yoongi spoke with a faint smile, his gaze distant as if he had momentarily drifted away into his own thoughts.
Jimin listened quietly with a soft smile.
Why did Yoongi's type sound so much like Jimin?
Or was it Jimin?
"Maybe my search has come to an end," Yoongi mumbled.
Jimin heard it. His heartbeat instantly rose.
Yoongi was being so obvious.
First, he had boldly admitted that he wanted to impress Jimin and no one else.
Now this.
What scared Jimin more was that he didn't want Yoongi to fall in love with him when he still had such a bright future ahead of him.
Maybe at his age, this was just attachment. At least that's what Jimin thought.
Jimin stared at Yoongi's side profile. Neither of them was wrong.
Yoongi and Jimin were both right in their own ways.
"Damn, Yoongi Hyung, I'm touched..." Jungkook said sweetly, knowing very well that everything Yoongi had said was about Jimin.
"Now I'll spin." Yoongi spun the bottle.
It stopped on Namjoon.
"Truth or Dare?" Yoongi asked.
"Truth."
"If you ever loved your friend, would you choose to confess or protect the friendship?" Yoongi asked.
Namjoon froze for a second.
Taehyung looked slightly confused.
Why the hell was Yoongi asking that?
Namjoon turned to look at Taehyung, who immediately gave him a look that clearly said:
I didn't tell anyone.
Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook remained completely unbothered because, to them, it was just a normal question.
They didn't know the context behind it.
"First of all, if I liked my friend, I'd make sure they liked me back before taking any action or confessing anything. Because I care a lot about my friendship. I wouldn't let it be ruined just because I like them.
And if someday I realized they didn't like me back..."
Namjoon paused briefly, stealing a glance at Jimin.
"...I'd bury it in my heart and move on. Just like any old memory."
Yoongi smiled because he and Namjoon were completely different.
If Namjoon liked someone, he had the strength to let them go.
But Yoongi... Yoongi was the type who got attached. The type who couldn't forget no matter how hard he tried.
"Now me..." Namjoon spun the bottle again.
Finally, it stopped on Jungkook.
"Ahh, finally me!"
Jungkook looked way too happy.
"You're the first person who's actually happy after getting selected," Namjoon said, shaking his head at the younger boy.
"Truth or Dare?"
"Dare."
"Go behind that tree," Namjoon pointed toward a tree that wasn't very far away, "count to ten, then come back."
"Easy."
Jungkook immediately got up and ran toward the tree.
"One..."
"Two..."
...
...
...
"Ten."
When Jungkook returned, he found the place completely empty.
No one was there.
"I fucking hate them," he whined, realizing everyone had left while he was busy completing his dare.
With a dramatic sigh, he also walked back to his own tent.

"We shouldn't prank Jungkook," Yoongi said as he sat on the mattress inside the tent while Jimin zipped the tent from the inside.
"So you don't like it when your friends get pranked?" Jimin asked as he finally turned to face Yoongi.
The tent was so cozy that Yoongi felt like falling asleep immediately. The soft light inside and the quiet sounds of the forest outside made everything feel strangely peaceful.
Jimin suddenly remembered everything Yoongi had said earlier, and honestly, he wanted to clear things up and ask Yoongi out, but somehow he couldn't bring himself to do it.
Suddenly, Yoongi scratched his hand, and Jimin noticed that his entire hand had turned red. Small bumps had appeared all over his skin.
"What happened?" Jimin asked worriedly as he sat right in front of Yoongi. He gently took Yoongi's hand in his own, examining the bumps carefully.
"Are you allergic?" Jimin asked, first looking at the hand and then at Yoongi's face.
"I don't know..."
The answer made Jimin smile.
"Hand me my bag."
Jimin pointed towards the bag placed in the corner beside Yoongi, and Yoongi handed it to him.
"Thankfully, I came prepared. It's common in forest areas," Jimin said while opening the smaller pocket of the bag. He pulled out a strip of tablets, probably allergy medicine, and then took out a water bottle as well.
"Take it."
Jimin held out the tablet, and Yoongi obediently took it.
Yoongi was about to lie down when Jimin grabbed his wrist. "Wait... Let me apply some cream."
Yoongi nodded.
Jimin squeezed some cream onto his fingers and slowly started applying it to Yoongi's hands.
Yoongi found himself staring at Jimin.
He watched how Jimin's hair kept falling onto his forehead as he leaned down to apply the cream. The concentration on his face, the gentleness of his touch... everything made Yoongi's chest feel strangely warm.
The urge to move those bangs away became impossible to ignore.
Without thinking much, Yoongi slowly raised his hand and touched Jimin's forehead. His fingers brushed against the soft strands before carefully tucking them behind Jimin's ear.
Jimin stopped moving and looked up.
Their faces were suddenly very close.
Jimin's eyes met his, and Yoongi immediately felt shy. He looked away, unable to hold the gaze for long.
He still didn't understand why he felt like this around Jimin.
Or maybe Jimin was simply too intimidating.
"Sleep now... and if sleep doesn't come, tell me," Jimin said before lying down.
The tent was small for two people, but they were already used to sleeping on the same bed, so it wasn't really a big deal.
Yoongi also lay down.
Slowly, he brought his hand in front of his face and looked at the spot where Jimin had applied the cream. A small smile appeared on his lips.
Time passed. Yoongi didn't realize how much. Sleep was nowhere close.
All he could do was imagine different scenarios, something he always did until sleep eventually came on its own.
Nowadays, he would just imagine himself with Jimin.
Nothing dirty.
Just holding his hand, hugging him, and spending time together the way lovers would.
Yoongi slowly turned onto his side and found Jimin sleeping peacefully.
So he rolled onto his stomach and moved himself a little closer until he was near Jimin's face.
"You call me cute, but just look at you now," he whispered softly, not wanting to wake him.
"Jimin... is it wrong if I start liking you?" he asked slowly, his voice trembling slightly. He looked at Jimin for a few seconds before lowering his gaze, as if gathering the courage to say everything that had been buried inside his heart for so long.
"I can't help it, Jimin. It's not like I like you just because of the things you've done for me, and it's not because I'm attached to you. I know people say those things can feel similar, but this is different. I genuinely like you. You became someone I never knew I was waiting for."
A small smile appeared on his lips.
"Nowadays, everything somehow leads back to you. When something happens, you're the first person I want to tell. When I have a bad day, you're the person I want beside me. When I think about my future, somehow you're standing there too. My world used to be full of dreams, goals, and places I wanted to reach, but somewhere along the way... you became a part of every single one of them."
His eyes slowly lifted to meet Jimin's face.
"When I was telling about my type, it was just you in front of my eyes. Every word I said was describing you. The way you care for me. The way you understand me even when I don't say anything. The way you make me feel safe without even trying. It was always you, Jimin."
His voice grew softer.
"I know you told me this marriage is only temporary. I know you said it's just until I achieve my dreams. But what if I tell you that you became my dream? What am I supposed to do then? How am I supposed to walk away after finding the person I was unknowingly searching for all this time?"
He looked down, smiling sadly.
"You told me I could choose anyone I wanted. That one day I'd meet someone and fall in love. But what if the person I want is already standing right in front of me? What if I don't want anyone else? What if every road I imagine taking somehow ends with you beside me?"
His chest felt tight.
"Maybe you'll think it's because of our age difference. Maybe you'll think I'm too young to understand my feelings. Maybe you'll tell yourself that I'll grow out of this one day. But I won't, Jimin. Because this isn't some childish crush that appeared overnight."
He swallowed hard.
"You became my comfort on the days I felt alone. You became my strength when I felt weak. You became the person I looked for without realizing it. And before I knew it, you became someone I couldn't imagine losing."
A quiet laugh escaped him.
"You call me a kid all the time, right?" He shook his head, smiling through his nervousness.
"Then this kid ended up falling for his own husband."
His eyes softened as he looked at Jimin.
"And maybe that's the scariest thing I've ever admitted... because for the first time in my life, my biggest dream isn't a place, a goal, or a future I've imagined."
"It's you."
Then his gaze dropped to Jimin's plump lips. For the first time, he felt like kissing them.
Right now. Slowly, he leaned closer.
When their lips were only inches apart, he paused.
His heart pounded wildly in his chest. Then he pulled himself back again.
"Will you be mad if I steal one kiss from you?" he whispered.
A nervous smile appeared on his lips before he leaned down and pecked Jimin's lips.
"Sorry... I don't know what the future holds, but I want to make sure my first kiss is you."
It lasted only two seconds, but his heart did that thing. That crazy, uncontrollable thing. He couldn't even get taste of those lips because they just barely touched.
It still counted as his first kiss. Which he gave to Jimin.
Yoongi quickly lay back down with his back facing Jimin, one hand pressed against his chest because his heart was beating so hard.
But he wasn't the only one whose heart was going crazy.
Jimin slowly opened his eyes.
His fingers moved to touch his lips.
Then he looked at Yoongi's back.
